Transparent and fair pricing structure
Customized Pricing
It is difficult to determine fees chargeable in advance of performance of jobs, mainly because of the degree of technicality involved in each engagement. However, number of man-hours to be spent on the job can be estimated to determine amount to be deposited for a job.
ICAN Guidelines
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) has now directed that fees should be based as percentage of the company's turnover in case of trading organization or number of man hours expended on the job using appropriate rate.
Thorough Assessment
However, in determining the fees chargeable, we shall evaluate the internal control of the organization before the commencement of the audit to determine the level of reliance on the internal control and be in a position to determine the coverage that will be required and the resultant man-hour input into the assignment.
Note: Rates chargeable are within the recommended rates of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
